In 2005 I graduated from BYU-Idaho, and I got my first job at Digital Kitchen in Seattle. I worked on show titles, rebrands, and pitches under fire. I honed skills doing traditional animation, 2D, 3D, or whatever was thrown my way. I learned to be light on my feet, adapt quickly, and to lead small teams.
When Dallas called me back home in 2010, I eventually took a job as head of Design & Animation at 3008 downtown. I learned to direct larger teams, and made sure to always keep my hands dirty. I directed live action and kept my eyes on expanding my skills. I learned to be decisive and effective in communicating complex messages to clients both verbally and visually.
In 2016 we moved our small family back to Idaho to teach Design & Animation at my alma mater. While teaching, I continue to Freelance full-time, breaking into fields like VR and Character Animation. I will continue teaching until at least Spring of 2018. Click this button for my contact info:
